My 2020 Reading List
Most of you know that reading is one of my main "Happy Places" - whether it's sitting in front of the fireplace or on a blanket at the beach - I'm one happy gal when I read daily.
I’ve been posting my 2021 reads on my Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages (links below) – I hope you’ve been following along, but for those of you who are disciplined about staying off social media, I will send out the complete list in early 2022.
So, I know we’re nearing the end of 2021, and you’re wondering why I’m just now sending my 2020 Reading List – well, better late than never, and 2020 was filled with way too many emails and not enough books!! ;)
I was able to re-read a couple of my absolute favorites (all of which I will readagain):
Nothing to Prove by Jennie Allen
Present over Perfect by Shauna Niequist
Hidden Christmas by Tim Keller
And, read some incredible biographies:
First by Evan Thomas (about Sandra Day O’Connor)
Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey (his memoir)
Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance (his memoir)
And, several other good reads:
Reflections on the Psalms by C.S. Lewis
Chasing Vines by Beth Moore
Hallelujah Anyway by Anne Lamott
Into the Raging Sea by Rachel Slade
Loonshots by Safi Bahcall
Of Mess & Moxie by Jen Hatmaker
Good to Great by Jim Collins (still applicable after all these years)
Measure What Matters by John Doerr
May your days be blessed with time to read and ponder, and grow in knowledge and wisdom!
